Balearics Sailing Expedition

€2500 per person

Balearics Sailing Expedition is a Mile Building trip for those one looking to log miles (around 1300NM).

This Sailing Expedition is a good option if you are looking for a adventurous 2 week sailing trip with several night watches and landing in different ports.

After crossing the Strait of Gibraltar well be heading to Cabo de Gata and after that to Cabo de Palos where we will cross to Formentera and Ibiza.

The route will be adjusted to the weather forecast, but if we have the option we like to visit Cabrera Island, anchor in Formentera and explore some nice calas in the south of Ibiza.

On the way back we might stop in Cartagena, Almerimar, Gibraltar or another port.

Balearic Sailing Expedition is probably the best Mile Building trip in the Mediterranean.

Max crew onboard during this Expedition: 3 + skipper

Tour Plan

1
A plan is just a plan. We like to sail. We don't like to motor.
After check in and get yourself comfortable we will be discovering the boat and doing the safety briefing, checking the weather. If the weather forecast is good we will be casting off after lunch on a passage to Barbate or Gilbraltar that should be around 24-26 hours. Passing the Strait requires some preparation. Sometimes we stop can be long waiting for the weather. After all this is about sailing! Leaving the Strait towards East probably with a next stop in Almerimar or Cartagena. The highlight of this trips obviously is to drop anchor in Formentera and swim in blue cristal waters. If we have the time we will be sailing into Cabrera and hike in this beautiful island (nature park). On the day 8 will be about to leave on the way back to Portugal.
